We source responsibly by only using high-quality raw materials. These should not just prove highly effective in our formulas, but should also address the growing demand of sustainability aspects regarding how they have been processed for production, as well as their (bio)degradability after use.

We are mindful of the valuable water resources our planet has to offer. That is why we don’t just reduce water content in our formulas, but also think about new product regimens and ways to use our products. This enables our consumers to save water as well. Further, we carefully choose ingredients in our rinse-out products with the aim to decrease water pollution.

We want to set an example for product & ingredient transparency. For KMS HAIR, “what’s inside the bottle” has always been key. That is why we ensure full ingredient declaration of the formula and explain what each ingredient actually does on the hair. Only that way, we can be fully transparent with our community.

We follow a minimalistic and sustainable packaging material approach. We continuously work on reducing the overall amount of packaging material, on using more recycled components and on the recyclability of
our bottles. Guaranteeing the safety of our products, always.

Upcycling is the reuse of precious natural resources that would go to waste otherwise — e.g., leftovers from food production. We take pride in repurposing them by creating something highly valuable & effective from them.

Our new KMS HAIR formulations are vegan, so they do not contain any animal-derived ingredients.

All KMS HAIR products are PETA approved. The official PETA certificate verifies that the respective brand/company (including its manufacturers and suppliers) does not and will never conduct, commission, pay for or allow any animal tests on their ingredients, formulations or finished
products globally

Wherever possible, we select materials for our products that have a high recyclability.

We are committed to save energy wherever possible (e.g., during the manufacturing process or by reducing hot-tool usage at home). This can happen via for example production or reduced required hot tool usage.

We decrease the overall CO₂ impact on the environment by reducing product size & weight, for example.

We reduce the carbon emissions of our products as much as possible, and all unavoidable emissions are compensated to zero with climate protection projects.
